Michael Lehman

Michael Lehman is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Terramont Infrastructure Partners. He has 20 years of experience in infrastructure private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and financing. Prior to co-founding Terramont, Michael was Managing Director at JP Morgan Asset Management, which he joined in 2015 to build a value-add infrastructure strategy. While at JP Morgan Asset Management, Michael was responsible for investment strategy, transaction origination and underwriting, portfolio management, as well as overall firm leadership. Michael has led a number of infrastructure industry-first investments, particularly in the renewables sector. Michael was a member of the JP Morgan Asset Management global private equity investment committee and management committee.

Prior to joining JP Morgan Asset Management, Michael was a Director with TIAA-CREF’s infrastructure private equity business, which became Nuveen in 2016. While at Nuveen, Michael led numerous investments across North America, Europe, and Australia. Prior to Nuveen, Michael was an investment banker at Scotia Capital, focused on merger, acquisition, and equity financing assignments for infrastructure companies and assets globally. Michael began his career in 2001 with the Ontario Ministry of Finance, structuring public-private partnerships in the transportation sector.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
